The 2009 Experience The Mountain Parks Photos/Videos Announced

On behalf of all of our contest sponsors, we are very pleased to announce that Rui Shan, of Edmonton, Alberta submitted the winning entry to our Reader Photo Contest!

We'd like to thank all of our readers who submitted photo entries this year. Honourable mention goes to Barry Philippson of Ottawa, Ontario for his "Zen Moment at Lake O'Hara" - the image that we have selected as the new cover shot for our 2010 edition of Experience the Mountain Parks. (see below)

We are sure by now you've seen the advertisements running on the right side of this website.
We carefully hand-picked through reputable affiliation agencies some relevant companies and not-for-profit organizations we felt would suit this website and our vision.

However we're looking for your feedback as we'll expand this website and its content through your vision too. So don't hesitate to drop us a few lines through our contact form.

Leonardo DiCaprio in Banff, and Kananaskis Country!

Leonardo DiCaprio has been spotted shopping at Cascade Plaza in Banff yesterday.
Some scenes of a new movie called "Inception" were shot in Kananaskis Country, during the past two weeks at the former ski resort called Fortress Mountain. According to some sources the shots were done as of yesterday. So we guess he and the crew are taking some time off now. The plot of the movie is not known yet and the movie will be out by the summer of 2010.

Some other big stars are part of the distribution though like Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, Michael Caine. Did you see one of them in town? Let us know.
